4:01 AM          Justin Littrell, 34 of North Vernon was cited for throwing burning material from a vehicle.

4:21 AM          Ira Vanosdol, 19 of North Vernon was cited for speeding 50/30.

4:45 AM          Brian Broad, 47 of North Vernon was arrested for driving while being a habitual traffic violator (HTV), possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of synthetic urine. Mr. Broad was cited for false and fictitious registration.

9:23 AM          Officers responded to a theft that already occurred from the 2600 block of N SR 7. Officers spoke with the caller. Individual had already left the area. Report taken by Officers.

11:39 AM        Officers responded to a suspicious person at the 700 block of N Madison Ave. Officers spoke with the suspicious person and homeowner. Everything checked ok.

1:09 PM          Officers responded to a suspicious person at the 500 block of Hayden Pike. Officers spoke with the suspicious person and the property owner. Individual had permission to be on property.

4:16 PM          Officers responded to a suspicious person at the 600 block of Buckeye St. Officers check the area and spoke with individuals. Suspicious person left the area prior to officers arrival.

6:08 PM          Officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Veterans Drive. Officers spoke to involved persons. No report was taken.

6:12 PM          Officer Holliday conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hurley Drive. Kevin D. Boyd, 58, of North Vernon was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

6:57 PM          Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the fifth block of Platter Drive. Everything checked okay.

8:44 PM          Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 2000 block of North State Street. Officers were not able to locate the person.

11:58 PM        Officer Holliday conducted a traffic stop in the area of North State Street. Zepha L. Ferguson, 30, of Carrollton Kentucky and Adrien W. Proctor, 35, of Ghent Kentucky were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

2:37 AM          Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Flintwood Dr. Everything checked okay.

3:43 AM          Officer conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Hayden Pike. Adult female checked okay.

8:18 AM          Possible impaired driver in the are of Hwy 50 East Officers unable to locate.

9:12 AM          Officers called to the Aspen House on Hayden Pike reference to a battery after an investigation it was discovered that Arthur Thomas 66, of Bloomington was arrested for battery against another member of the house.

9:55 AM          Cecil Lamb Jr, 51, of Madison, was cited for seat belt violation on West Walnut.

9:55 AM          Jessica Woods 43, of Seymour was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior offense after she was stopped for improper display of her license plate.

9:57 AM          Officers called to Casey’s General Store reference to a male subject passed out behind the wheel Officers located the subject and he checked ok.

10:45 AM        Officers called to the area of 4th Street reference to two suspicious persons officers unable to locate.

11:34 AM        Subject on station reference to theft, subject was direct to the Jennings County Sheriff Dept. reference to a follow up with detectives.

11:57 AM        Funeral escort in the area of South State St.

12:41 PM        Lock out at Wal-Mart.

4:49 PM          911 Hang up on North Jennings St. everything checked ok.

5:15 PM          Drug paraphernalia located at Way-Side Inn officers recovered the item and destroyed it

7:15 PM          Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Jay-C. Everyone checked ok.

9:05 PM          Officers were dispatched to a drug related offense at Martin Rea. Everything checked ok.

9:49 PM          Mark Gunter, 29 of North Vernon was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

11:00 PM        Officers were dispatched to a possible impaired driver in the area of area of State Road 7 and U.S. 50. Officers were unable to locate any intoxicated person.

11:34 PM        Jeremiah Barton, 19 of North Vernon was cited for expired registration and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility.

1:23 AM          Officer Holliday conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Main Street. Darren J. Jones, 34, of South Lake Tahoe, California was arrested on a Bartholomew County warrant.

3:21 AM          Officers responded to a disturbance in the 3700 block of North State Road 3. Officers spoke to persons involved. A person was given a trespass warning.

9:35 AM          Richard H. Brand, 38, of Nineveh, was cited for operating without a valid license on State Street. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

10:59 AM        Shannon Colwell 45, of North Vernon arrested on an outstanding warrant.

12:15 PM        Lock out in the area of Hicks St.

2:42 PM          Vin check on Westbrook Dr.

3:31 PM          Officers trespassed a subject from KFC.

3:35 PM          Lock out on Scott St.

4:30 PM          Officers trespassed a subject from Mcdonalds.

7:23 PM          Officer assisted with a lockout in the 1300 block of N State St. Entry was gained.

7:21 AM          Officers responded to an over dose on Gum Street. The patient was treated at the scene and then transported to the hospital.

8:17 AM          Officers attempted to located a reckless driver at South State Street.

10:07 AM        Officer provided a funeral escort on South State Street.

4:20 PM          Joseph Burton, 29, of North Vernon was arrested for a probation violation on the original offense of possession of marijuana. Officer Lucas Newsom was able to locate Joseph in an apartment on FDR Drive.

7:12 PM          Jennifer Acree, 38, of North Vernon was arrested on a Jennings County warrant by Officer Barkes.

7:48 PM          Melanie J. York, 51, of Elizabethtown was cited for expired registration in the area of North State Road 3 by Officer Holliday.

7:53 PM          John R Smith, 42, of North Vernon was cited for a seatbelt violation in the area of East Walnut Street by Sergeant Beam.

7:56 PM          Officers assisted another agency in the 1500 block of West Locust Street.

8:01 PM          Officers responded to an alarm in the 600 block of North State Street. Everything checked okay.

9:27 PM          Xavier J. Vogel, 18, of North Vernon was cited for speed in the area of South State Street by Officer Holliday.

1:16 PM          Officers assisted with a funeral escort at the 400 block of S State St.

3:41 PM          Officers completed a VIN check on a vehicle at the 900 block of Roger Ln.

3:42 PM          Officers completed a VIN check on a vehicle at the 300 block of Golbert St.

3:50 PM          Officers responded to a theft that just occurred at the 2400 block of N SR 3.

4:49 PM          Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle at the 2400 block of N SR 3.

5:11 PM          Officers responded to a battery report that already occurred. Officers spoke with the reporting person. Officers checked the area of Henry St. for the suspected vehicle.

7:43 PM          Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the area of Hare Lane. Officers spoke to subjects in the area, everything checked okay.

9:42 PM          Officers responded to a report of suspicious persons at the intersection of South Gum Street and Lincoln Street. Officers checked the area, no persons were located.

9:22 AM         Officers were dispatched to an unconscious driver located at 4th and summit.  Driver was woken by officers and signs of intoxication were present.  Crystal Riley, 35, of North Vernon was arrested for Operating while intoxicated, possession of meth, legend drug violation, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia.

4:06 PM          Illegal Burning near 550 S. Gum street.

4:58 PM          Suspicious activity near 240 W. Poplar street.  Checked okay.

6:21 PM          Officers responded to a welfare check in the 700 block of Henry Street.

7:32 PM          Officers took a property damage accident report in the 1400 block of N State Street.

8:37 PM          Larry L Burton, 62, of North Vernon was cited for expired license plates in the area of Hurley Drive.

2:40 PM          Maisie Jarvis, 21, of North Vernon was arrested for Operating a vehicle
Without ever receiving a license following a traffic stop made by Officer Harrod for a registration violation in the area of 1600 block Of N State St.  Once at the jail a search was conducted and drug Paraphernalia was found.  She was then charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Syringe, and Trafficking with an inmate.

3:09 PM          Kenneth D. Petro, of Scipio, was cited for a Seatbelt violation.

4:58 PM          Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle at the 2300 block of N SR 3.

5:54 PM          Officers performed a welfare check in the 2400 block of N State Road 3.

9:35 PM          Jayson S Wingham, 61, of Hope was cited for an expired license plate in the area of North State Street.

10:56 AM        Officers responded to a welfare check on two individuals at the 2400 block of N SR 3. Officers spoke with both individuals. Everything checked ok.

11:18 AM        Officers responded to a welfare check on a male subject at the 1800 block of CR 350 N . Officers spoke with the male. Male checked out ok.

12:37 PM        Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle at the 2400 block of N SR 3.

12:57 PM        Officers completed a VIN check on a vehicle at the 200 block of S. State St.

3:04 PM          Heather Robbins 34 of North Vernon was issued a citation during a traffic stop at the area of Bay St. and N. State St. for Expired License Plate.

3:54 PM          Jeffrey Friend 41 of Westport and Jason Lavender 36 of Westport were both issued citations during a traffic stop at the area of Scott St. and Clay St. for Seatbelt Violation.

6:25 PM          Officers investigated a report of suspicious persons in the 400 block of Hoosier St. in an alley. Subjects were not located.

9:29 PM          Officers assisted with a civil matter in the 100 block of 5th St.

9:40 PM          Officer took a report of a theft in the 100 block of 5th St. that occurred on the 5th in the 2200 block of N SR 7.

1:31 AM          Officers were out with a suspicious person who was standing along the side of State Road 7. The male subject checked ok and was given a ride to his home.

1:48 AM          Officers were dispatched to the area of Oakwood/Myrtle Avenue for a noise complaint. Officers were able to locate the subject that was revving their vehicle.

3:39 AM          Officers were dispatched back to the area of Oakwood/Myrtle Avenue for another noise complaint of a car alarm that kept going off. When officers arrived in the area, they were unable to locate any car alarms. Everything checked ok.

6:01 AM          Officers assisted Jennings County Rescue 20 and North Vernon Fire with a Medical Alarm at the area of Henry St.

9:12 AM          Officers responded to a harassment report at the 700 block of Henry St. Officers spoke with the caller and other individuals. Report taken by Officers.

10:33 AM        Officers responded to a welfare check on a male subject at the 500 block of S. State St. Officers attempted contact but no one was at the residence.

11:10 AM        Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle at the 600 block of Buckeye St.

1:00 PM          Officers responded to a intoxicated subject at the 700 block of N State St. Officers made contact with the suspected intoxicated male. Brandon Croxton 38 of Dupont was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08 or more.

1:25 PM          Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle at the 1100 block of N State St.

1:42 PM          Officers assisted with a funeral escort at the 400 block of S. State St.

4:10 PM          Officers responded to a disturbance at the 2300 block of N SR3. Officers spoke with the male subject involved. Disturbance was verbal only.

4:28 PM          Officers responded to an animal complaint at the 800 block of Hoosier St. Officers spoke with the caller and individual involved. Report taken.

4:58 PM          Officers responded to a disturbance/possible domestic at the 400 block of S. State St. Officers spoke with both parties. Everything checked ok.

6:19 PM          Officers assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of Meadow Lane. A report was taken.

6:34 PM          Officers successfully unlocked a vehicle in the 1600 block of West Middle School Road.

12:40 AM        Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 1200 block of W O&M Ave. An investigation was conducted by Officer Barkes. Brain L. Wilkerson, 49 of North Vernon, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance, dealing in marijuana, and dealing in methamphetamine. Richard R. Runge, 51 of North Vernon, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance.

2:08 AM          Officers investigated a report of a burglary. No crime was found to have been committed.

8:54 AM          Vin check on station.

10:03 AM        Officer responded to a traffic complaint in the area of Dollar General Store.

10:51 AM        Thomas Evans 57, of North Vernon was arrested by Sgt. Craig Kipper for felony intimidation. After an investigation it was discovered that Thomas had made serious threats towards hospital staff.

10:56 AM        Officers responded to the 400 block of East O & M reference to theft.

12:38 PM        Skylar Combs 19, of Scottsburg cited for speeding in the area of Hurley Dr.

12:58 PM        Sgt. Craig Kipper helped with a disabled vehicle in the area of the main intersection.

1:36 PM          Benjamin Leonard 41, of Franklin Indiana arrested for Legend Drug Violation and Possession of Marijuana after a traffic stop for speeding. Benjamin was also cited for speeding and driving while suspended.

1:44 PM          Officers responded to a possible impaired driver in the area of SR 7 North, officers were unable to locate said vehicle.

2:18 PM          Officers responded to a residential alarm in the 400 block of South Jennings St.

3:00 PM          Jeffery Linville 57, of North Vernon arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Jeffery was stopped for false and fictitious registration.

7:17 PM          Jordan Thomas, 18 of Seymour Indiana was cited for speeding and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility.

7:47PM           Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block for a recovered syringe.

8:20 PM          Paula Higham, 71 of Seymour Indiana was cited for speeding.

8:38 PM          Kimberly Daniels, 48 of North Vernon was cited for speeding.

6:15 PM          Joseph Cartheal Burton, 29 of North Vernon, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license, and for operating a motor vehicle with an altered license plate. Gina Michelle McGaha, 48 of North Vernon, arrested for operating a motor vehicle with an altered license plate. Both arrested out of a traffic stop in the 2000 block of N Madison Ave. by Officer Barkes.

7:52 PM          Officers investigated a report of suspicious persons in the 700 block of Woodfield Ct. Individuals were looking for a pet that ran away.

9:28 PM          Officers conducted a welfare check on a juvenile in the 200 block of Vintage Trace. Juvenile checked okay.

10:19 AM        Joseph A. Holder, of North Vernon, was stopped for Speeding.  Upon further investigation it was discovered that he was driving with a suspended license.  Mr. Holder has been convicted of Driving while suspended before which resulted in his arrest for DWS-Prior. 

11:05 AM        Alan J. Marantos, 34, of North Vernon was cited for Driving while suspended-Infraction after he was stopped for speeding.

12:00 PM        Report of Battery in the 300 block of S. Elm street.

12:57 PM        Lockout at 525 E. Buckeye street.

1:52 PM          Leonard Bays 74, of Scipio cited for expired registration in the area of Hurley Dr.

1:52 PM          Lonnie Golden 64, of North Vernon cited for a seatbelt violation in the area of Hurley Dr.

2:07 PM          Officers were dispatched to 36 Dallas Dr. reference to a family dispute after an investigation was conducted it was concluded that two family members had touched other family members in an angry, insolent or rude manner. Jacob Lofgreen 23, of North Vernon and Doyle Myers 56 of North Vernon were both arrested for domestic battery.

2:26 PM          Officers conducted a civilian assist on station via a phone call.

3:38 PM          Brittany Powers 19, of North Vernon cited for a seatbelt violation in the area of North State St. / FDR Dr.
